Dear alumni and friends,
The new school year is well underway, the air is finally crisp at dawn, and the Forty Acres is alive and bustling like never before. The University of Texas at Austin has welcomed its largest first-year class and enrolled a record-high number of historically underrepresented students. The energy and enthusiasm of our students, faculty, and staff, now that we have fully returned to learning and working together in person, is appreciable everywhere on campus.
President Hartzell recently unveiled Change Starts Here, our 10-Year Strategic Plan. It is bold and ambitious, and it emphasizes our continued commitment to make a positive impact on the world. Texas Global is poised, more than ever, to carry forward the university’s vision and expand efforts to bring the world to UT and UT to the world.
Today, I am thrilled to bring you another inspiring message that makes us proud to be global Longhorns: Turn up your volume, click, and watch Texas is Global! I hope you’ll enjoy and share it widely. You are our ambassadors on campus and around the world, and we are so grateful.
Hook ’em!
